Most people get vary when they think you are trying to sell them life insurance. And quite frankly fair enough too as there have been enough shonky operators out there in the past to give life insurance a bad name.
I know there are many articles written on this subject and it’s completely boring. What is not boring though is when you have that accident falling down a hill after walking in high heels from the Christmas party which lands you in hospital unable to move for a month and then another month in a wheel chair and so your recovery goes on….. slowly….
You work for yourself, you have a family and two children to feed and send to school and do all the fun things with their friends. You have no income coming in, the mortgage needs paying and the bank is knocking on the door. You can’t make ends meet.
This is the situation faced by many people out there. You never know when something will happen. We all insure our cars, our houses and even our mobile phones these days as we couldn’t live without them. But what about ourselves and our ability to earn income.
Security, peace of mind, confidence, control, these are all highly desired by humans and can all be easily lost in an instant.
Some people don’t need insurance as they have enough savings or other funds to help get through the tough times, others need a little whilst others need a lot.
There are a number of different types of insurance including income protection, critical illness, death and total and permanent disablement cover. They each provide cover for different ailments or all work in together.
The one thing I want at the end of the day is if I’m not here or I can’t work to earn income to put food on the table that my insurance will kick in to help out my family. Can you afford not to have insurance at this time in your life?
